LOL

Last night our family dog Bozeman slept in my room. He only sleeps in my room like once a month because Dale likes him in his room. Anyway, Bozey barks and whines in his sleep and everytime he does it I just have to laugh out loud. It is not even that funny, but it makes me laugh so hard.:-) He makes this muffled bark sound and then he will growl and then he will yelp/whine like someone in his dream hit him and then he will bark again. All of it is muffled because he doesn't open his mouth. It cracks me up.

Have fun while I am gone!!!!!

I read this quote in a book:
Before you criticize someone, walk a mile in their shoes. That way when you criticize them, you are a mile away and you have their shoes. LOL
My mom laughed really hard.
Well I leave in 4 days! On Wednesday we are going to Portland. Then from Portland 2 1/2 days to Wyoming. FUN. (That was dripping with sarcasm.) Actually it is not that bad. :-)

War? Of The Worlds

Yesterday I went to see War of the Worlds with Dale, Michael, and Anthony. Well, more like tagged along because my parents weren't home! It was good, and very suspenseful. (I had my hands ready to cover my face many a time. I did jump and cover my face once. I don't even remember on what part now!) But it did not captivate or capture me. Even though it was suspenseful it kind of board me. And it wasn't really a war. Like they say in the movie it was "an extermination." The little girl played by 'Dakota something' did a very good acting job.
The trailers in front of the movie looked good! "Elizabethtown" with Orlando Bloome and Kirsten Duntst looked cute. "Four Brothers" with Mark Wahlman looked good too. It looked like it had some questionable content in it, but it looked interesting. I think Mark Wahlman is a good actor. I liked him in The Italian Job.

Today I am tired and have been lounging around and reading. (Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) I am almost through the whole book and I started today. Right now I feel like I should be at Hannah's house playing Nancy Drew mystery computer games.

~ Dale just shot a woodpecker at our bird feeder with his air soft gun. Right under the wing. The woodpecker fell/flew to the grass and Bozey ran down and attacked it. We called him off and the woodpecker hopped under the trampoline. Dale went and grabbed it with a towel and plunked it over the hill. It wandered off. It should be okay; Dale probably stunned it more that anything. Here is a direct quote from Dale himself: "I don't think we'll be seeing that bird at our feeder again!" Boys will be boys. You can't live with 'em and you can't live without 'em. No, I love my brother.
So those are today's exciting events!
Tonight at 8pm Dale, Anna, Hannah, and I are having pizza at Uppercrust to visit with Rachel. Then we are planning to rent The Pacifier and watch it at my house.
I leave for vacation in 5 days! I cannot get ahold of time. :-(
Have a good day,
All love,
Jamie

I so meant to post this yesterday :-)

Because I so meant to post this yesterday, I have updated it to post it today. If that makes any sense.
SATURDAY: Luke's party was fun; I got to meet some more cousins! I knew all of them except Alicia, Ester's older sister, and Abigail, the Mintz's new baby. We had lots of fun playing toothpick in the pool and volleyball in the front yard. Fun Fun. :-)

SUNDAY: Was slow. I went to church, and then during second service I taught crafts. Crafts were fun. Kalyn and I agreed that it was nice to have a non-messy craft! Usually we work with glue and paint pens and glitter-glue. This time we made beaded crosses. It was nice to have a break from all the mess! When I got home I lay down to rest on the couch and I ended up sleeping soundly for 3 hours! I never do that! It was nice, but then I had trouble sleeping that night.

MONDAY: HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! My family and I went to the church picnic @ 6:30pm. I hung with Anna, Hannah, and the other awesome girls. Later Anna, Katie F, and I played volley-tennis with the boys. Then @ 10 when the fire works started my family and I left because my mom hates the traffic afterwards. So I watched the fire works from the car and mom caught glances at red lights. :-) When we got home the fire works were still going and we could see the grand finale from our back deck! Awesome!
TODAY: I woke up at 11am. Whoa. Nothing happening today. I'm just staying home.
Have a wonderful day, Jamie :-)

Happy July!

Last evening I went out to dinner with Becky to Tecate Grill. Half the reason we went was to see Christina! ;-) (She works there) The other half was because Becky had a coupon! :-) It was fun and the food was good. Afterwards we waited for Christina to get off work and then we came to my house and watched a movie. "Spanglish" was the movie we picked out. It was pretty good. I liked it because it was so real, the way the actors acted and it didn't have a ton of music. So, it seemed more real, not all doctored up. We stayed up until midnight watching the movie and I got up at 10:30 this morning!:-)
Tomorrow I am subbing at Turtle Bay for a girl named Rebecca. So, I will have gone and worked twice this week. It's all good though because then I am working out part of the time that I will miss when I am gone in Wyoming for 2+ weeks.
Have a good rest of the day ~ Jamie
P.S. Please Pray for Lynda's dad. He is at a hospital in Chico and will probably undergo surgery on his back tonight.
